At the beginning of last week I ventured down to Cambridge for an event at swissnexBoston. As per usual, the Swiss outdid themselves - traditional veal sausages, raclette, and all the fixings. A fife and drum corps provided the entertainment, with bespoke jellies provided for dessert (raspberry rosewater and strawberry basil panna cotta are delicious, and flavors I don’t recall from elementary school Jello treats!). The evening ended punctually (I’d expect no less) at 9:30. It was fantastic to spend an evening speaking French, and I could barely contain my excitement upon discovering that a new acquaintance hails from Valais. I have a feeling I’ll be returning sooner rather than later!
